The only draw back is that it is a bit big. Great sound reproduction and auto track marking durring recording. This option is not available on all mini disc recorders.

Yes I own this product and I love it.
I can hook it up to my laptop with the optical cord and the toggle disk make it so easy.

I've had this thing for over a year and use it for hard skiing and motorcyclning and has held up.
Very user friendly, battery life ok, but a little big (by current standards).
Definitely the best remote out there.

This unit is great for live recording with the
variety of stereo point mics out there.
You can not accidently overwrite tracks when recording.
Even after 2 years my unit has not had the dreaded Sharp TOS error
