I did a lot of research on in-dash mp3/CD players. This unit stuck out because of several unique features.
The first being the support of Joliet file names. This unit displays 29 characters from file names. This means you can delete your ID3 tags (this decreases track to track delays) and put song title and artist in the file name.
The second is song search by track number and alphabetical. You can browse for a song while a song is playing. (Very rare feature)
The third is audible FF/RW. A few units are finally getting this feature.
A few people have complained about the open flap face. I typically don't use it that often because I have 140+ songs on one CD. It takes a long time to get bored of that many songs.
You should get this player! Your friends will be amazed at the scrolling info displayed while a song is playing.
