The Panasonic PT-51DX80 is a rear projection color TV
with a 51" screen. But this is no ordinary PTV. With the
addition of an optional DTV set-top box, it will display a
true SDTV (Standard Digital Television) picture in either
480i or 480p formats (double the resolution of a VHS
videotape). Even more important, it has a built-in
"progressive scan doubler" that eliminates the scan
lines that are normally visible on a projection TV. Hook
up a DVD player or a digital satellite dish system to this
baby and it will give you an unbelievably great picture.
