Time Machine Recording provides a 6-second memory buffer in case you miss the first few seconds of a radio broadcast that you want to record. Stores those first few seconds in memory and starts the recording from there.
CD Text displays text from encoded CDs on the units display. Text can include song/disc title and artist information, as well as disc genre (Jazz, Classical, Rock, etc.).
