The MA700 is a powerful and advanced monoblock
amplifier that has exceeded the stringent stands of the
THX certification process. Each MA700 delivers 200
watts RMS into 8 ohms, and 300 watts RMS into 4
ohms. A pair of MA700s can be bridged for a
tremendous 600 watt RMS into 8 ohms. THX
certification means that the MA700 can safely drive
speaker impedances rated as low as 3.2 ohms. Despite
this prodigious output, the MA700 is cooled silently by
heat sinks (no noisy fan), and is so compact that three
placed side by side equal the same width as a
conventional component. The MA700 features three
auto power on and off options – via trigger, via video
sense connections, or via wireless remote signals using
RC-5 codes.
