3 Shooting Modes The ELURA2MC camcorder has three shooting modes 1) Normal Movie Mode full motion Video with the Progressive Scan CCD and RGB Primary Color Filter that delivers a significant improvement in performance and image quality. 2) Digital Photo Mode this mode functions as a digital still camera, the camcorder is like two˜ cameras in one. 3) Digital Motor Drive Operates with the Progressive Scan CCD Image sensor, it captures high resolution pictures by recording an incredible 30 full frame images per second continuously.
PCM Digital Stereo Sound 12/16 bit audio, 16 bit offers one set of stereo tracks and achieves the same quality as CD, while the 12 bit mode creates two sets of stereo tracks, audio dub is possible when recorded in 12 bit mode.
MultiMedia Card Expands video possibilities by offering an 8MB MultiMedia Card in addition to a Mini DV cassette. This feature allows you to store and transfer still images to a PC (with a PCMCIA adapter). Copy still images from a videocassette to a MultiMedia Card, and vice versa. You can produce effects not possible with just a cassette using one of the Mult˜iMedia Cards three types of Card Mix Effects. Choose one of the sample images provided on the supplied 8MB MultiMedia Card such as a picture frame or crashing waves and combine it with the currently recording image.
Photo mode Captures VGA (640x 480) resolution still images with audio to videotape for six seconds each, By pressing the photo button, users can capture more than 700 still pictures on a single videocassette in SP mode. Video and still pictures can be combined on the MiniDV cassette. You can also record still images to the MultiMedia Card.
Image Stabilizer : A high quality image stabilization system instantly corrects camera shake, providing smooth, stable pictures, the image stabilizer system functions in both video and photo shooting modes.
5 Mode P˜rogram AE (Auto Exposure) You can prepare your camcorder for almost any recording condition by using the following automatic exposure settings, Sports, Portrait, Spotlight, Sand & Snow, Low Light.
Digital Fades & Special Effects: The Elura 2MC includes a variety of digital fades and special effects for a more appealing look and greater imaging variety. The digital fades, which start or end a scene using a black screen, include fade trigger, wipe, scroll and mosaic. The special effects include art, black and white, sepia and mosaic, also features the multi-image display feature that divides the screen into a choice of four, nine, or 16 pictures, which can be displayed at slow, medium or fast speed.
