The JBL HLS CENTER offers incredibly natural sound in
a very efficient speaker by utilizing the horn technology
JBL is famous for. This speaker actually uses a true
tweeter attached to a horn. This results in the sonic
quality of a tweeter and the directivity and efficiency of
a horn – the best of both worlds.
This tweeter is between two 5 ¼" polypropylene
woofers, helping to create the proper dispersion
necessary to make the center channel dialog cut
through the soundtrack.
This speaker is shielded, allowing you to place the
speaker virtually anywhere without the danger of
affecting television picture quality.
The enclosure is ported for extended low-frequency
response, and is equipped with 5-way binding posts for
easy speaker cable connection.
